Delphi - Built on the slopes of Mt Parnassos, overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, the Delphi is the most visited of all the ancient sites in Greece. According to Greek mythology, Delphi is the centre of the world, for Zeus released two eagles at opposite ends of the world and they met here.
Knossos - The capital of Minoan Crete, Knossos is a major tourist attraction in Crete. The ruins of King Minos' mythological Minotaur were uncovered in 1900 by British archaeologist Sir Arthur Evans.
National Archaeological Museum - One of the world's greatest museums housing the most important finding from archaeological sites around the country.
